Altar Serving is for children in Grades 3-8 who have received their First Holy Communion. A member of the parish trains them and coordinates the altar serving schedule. If a student wishes to only serve at school Masses (Wednesdays and Holy Days), the student must still complete the training. After a student is fully trained to altar serve, complete this form to be added to the school Mass schedule. The Pastor determines eligibility, standards of dress, and conduct.
We need altar servers for our school Masses! Please consider having your child altar serve. This is an incredibly special experiences for students to be able to serve at the altar. If your child is baptized and has received their First Holy Communion, then they are eligible to be trained! If you are interested, email stmarypaltarservers@gmail.com. This includes serving at school Masses. Once your child is trained, please fill out this form so we can add you to our school Mass schedule.
