We will leave from our classroom at 9:00 am on Monday for our field trip to Bates Nut Farm. We should return by 1:00.

Please have your child wear their red polo, jeans, and athletic shoes. Bring a throw-away sack lunch and drink.

HOMEWORK

NO Math pages – we will be reviewing this next week.

Mini-book about the long vowel sound of Ee.

Please practice writing letters Aa-Ff.

Sound bag for the letter Gg. Please make sure your child uses the hard sound of G such as gum, guitar and not the soft j sound as in giraffe.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Emma. Please bring in your photo book and sharing each day.

Religion

We learned how God made the animals. We also discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.

Reading

This week we read two books about Eagles for the sound of long E. Along with Finklehopper Frog and a book about the American Flag for the letter Ff.

Math

We began Chapter 4. This chapter discusses one-to-one items, fewer/most and begins number recognition and writing.

Cooking

We made Fun Fruit for the letter Ff.

Science

We are still learning about dinosaurs with a variety of activities.
