Our Kindergarten last day of school play/celebration will be on Thursday, June 11 beginning at 10:00 am in the school hall, with breakfast to follow. Siblings may attend if their teacher excuses them from class.
Your child may wear their school uniform that day. We will not be having a cap and gown ceremony.
“Fly Up” will take place on Monday, June 8th. This is where the kindergarteners will visit the 1st grade classroom and Mrs. Bonica.
HOMEWORK: A summer packet will be sent home with your child on the last day of school.
READING: Keep practicing with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.
Religion We continue to work on our St. Mary Journal along with a journal I created for the students to learn our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLE).
Reading This week we read about Manatees and Dolphins
Math We completed Chapter 10 on time and began Chapter 11 on measurement. We are also writing numbers to 100 and continue with Garfield Math.
Cooking We ate the “ocean”. Blue Jell-O with Swedish fish and whipped cream.
Science/Social Studies
We began learning about sea life that included Manatees and Dolphins.
