Our Kindergarten last day of school play/celebration will be on Thursday, June 11 beginning at 10:00 am in the school hall, with breakfast to follow.

“Fly Up” will take place on Monday, June 8th. This is where the kindergarteners will visit the 1st grade classroom and Mrs. Bonica.

HOMEWORK:  The last day for sight word testing will be June 4.  Keep practicing the sight word list your child has been given. Please let Mrs. Prieto know when your child is ready to test.

Math: Workbook pages 116-119.

Please have your child read to you or read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

Religion We continue to work on our St. Mary Journal along with a journal I created for the students to learn our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLE).

Reading This week we read The Tale of Jemima Puddleduck, and Rainbow Fish

Math We continue with Chapter 10 on time to the ½ hour. We are also writing numbers to 100 and continue with Garfield Math.

Cooking We made Puddleduck Food.

 Science/Social Studies
Our classroom windowsill beans have really taken off.  I will be sending them home next week.
