Our Kindergarten last day of school play/celebration will be on Thursday, June 11 (No school for kinder on June 12).  All families are invited to our Peter Rabbit play which will begin at 10:00 am in the school hall, with breakfast to follow, along with certificates being handed out.  There is no “formal” graduation ceremony.

Our last field trip permission slip went home last week.  The cost is $7.50 per student. I need one more parent to volunteer for Friday, May 22, beginning at 10:30 to 12:00.

HOMEWORK:  Keep practicing the sight word list your child has been given. Please let Mrs. Prieto know when your child is ready to test.

Math: Worksheet packet.

Please have your child read to you or read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

Religion We continue to work on our St. Mary Journal along with a journal I created for the students to learn our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLE).

Reading This week we read The Tale of Peter Rabbit, and The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin?

Math We completed Chapter 9 about money. We will begin Chapter 10 on Monday, our unit on time. We are also writing numbers to 100 and continue with Garfield Math.

Cooking We made Peter Rabbit carrot cake muffins.

 Science/Social Studies
We are watching our garden begin to sprout.
