Thank you all so much for the beautiful flowers, cards and gift cards you gave to me for my birthday! My day was very special.

Thank you also to all our chaperones that accompanied us on our field trip to San Pasqual High School and Kit Carson Park.

Our next field trip permission slip went home today.  The cost is $7.50 per student. I need one more parent to volunteer for Friday, May 22.

HOMEWORK:  Keep practicing the sight word list your child has been given. Please let Mrs. Prieto know when your child is ready to test.

Math: Workbook pages 105-106.

Please have your child read to you or read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

Religion We are working on our St. Mary Journal along with a journal I created for the students to learn our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLE).

 Reading This week we read The Wartville Wizard, and Oh, Say can you Seed?

 Math We continue Chapter 9 about money, please practice identifying and counting money over 25 cents.  We are also writing numbers to 100.

 Cooking Due to our busy schedule we were not able to cook this week.

 Science/Social Studies
We completed our unit on plant life, some of our bean seeds started to sprout and we planted our outside garden.
