Our end of unit mammal activity will be on Monday, March 30. Please see the attached information/ permission slip and return it with your signature and $10.00 cash by Wednesday, March 25. Volunteers are needed!
HOMEWORK: Please practice the reading/sight word lists if your child has been given a list (not all students have a list yet).
Math: I noticed the student’s are having difficulty circling sets of 10. Please complete the math packet on sets of 10, along with Math pages: 67-71. Also practice writing numbers above 20.
Please have your child read to you or read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

Religion We are discussing the Lenten season. We joined our school families for Stations of the Cross in the Church. And we discussed Sundays’ Gospel.
Reading This week we read about a variety of farm animals.
Math We are still working on Chapter 5, writing and counting numbers 25-31, and finding sets of 10. We continue with Garfield Math, and will begin number rolls, writing numbers 1-100 on Monday.
Cooking We cooked twice this week: Pigs in a Blanket and Milkshakes.
Science/Social Studies We discussed a variety of farm animals and learned about how milk goes from the cow to the refrigerator.
