Kinder Newsletter February 20, 2015

We collected 133 postcards! The farthest one away was from Tasmania! The children will take them home in a few weeks, we are doing a sorting game with them.

A few reminders:

Please remember to have your child in line by between 7:50 and 7:55 on Wednesdays for Mass. They will be marked tardy if they are not there when we enter the Church.

“No Show” socks are not to be worn to school; socks must cover the ankle, even on PE days!

HOMEWORK: Please check your child’s home folder and correct any answers that your child missed.

Math: Math packet: practice writing numbers 11-14 and dot-to-dot to 15.

Please have your child practice recognizing/writing numbers 1-100.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Molly- bring your photo album and sharing each day!

Religion We talked about the meaning of Lent and Ash Wednesday. We joined our school families for Stations of the Cross in the Church. And we discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read our last alphabet book called Zomo for the letter Zz. We also read about President’s Day.

Math We will take our Chapter 8 test on Monday, and begin Chapter 5, writing and counting numbers 11-30. We continue with Garfield Math.
