We had a busy week celebrating DAY 100 and Valentine’s Day. We enjoyed looking at great Day 100 posters, completed a lot of Day 100 projects and enjoyed a Day 100 cake.

Religion We discussed how Jesus is our friend and is always there for us. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read Yoko and Yummers for the letter Yy and Zinnia and Dot for the letter Zz. We have one more Z book and then we will being books that relate to our Science and Social Studies topics.

Math We are working on Chapter 8, subtracting numbers, along with Garfield Math.

Cooking We made Yummers (a rice crispy cereal and cheese treat) for the letter Y.

Science/Social Studies We are discussing Community Helpers this month. If you would like to speak about your job to the class please let me know.
