Thank you to all the families that attended the Open House last Sunday, along with making our Grandparents’ Day a great success.

Space Day is Monday. This is a culminating activity to end our unit on the Solar System. If you received a request to send in a donation please do so on Monday.

February 10th at 5:00 pm I will hold a Kindergarten Informational meeting night. Please let all your friends know about this event if they are considering St. Mary’s for kindergarten. Current kindergarten parents do not need to attend.

HOMEWORK: Due to the limited amount of items that can be found the following letters have been divided among the class V, W, Y and Z Sound Bags

Math: Ten Frame Practice worksheets.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Jordan- bring your photo album and sharing each day!

Religion We discussed how Jesus taught us to pray and that we can pray any time and anywhere. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read Tessa’s Treasure for the letter Tt, it’s a story about how friendship is our greatest treasure.

Math We are working on chapter 7, adding numbers and creating a ten frame, along with Garfield Math

Cooking We made Tater Tots for the letter Tt.

Science/Social Studies We are finishing up our unit on the Solar System. This week we read about and completed a book about the moon.
