Thank you for all the wonderful toy donations for the children in Tecate, along with the food items for the school wide collection for the food baskets. We will be collecting blankets until Dec. 17th.
Thursday, December 18th, we will watch The Polar Express with cookies and cocoa. Your child may wear PJ’s to school and bring a small animal to cuddle with during the movie. We will begin at 9:30 am due to pageant practice in the afternoon.
Our school Christmas pageant is on Friday, December 19th at 10:00 am in the Church. Please join us for this wonderful tradition. Children will be released after the celebration.
Our children will be dressed as angels, please have your child in a white turtleneck or t-shirt (no logos) and school pants or skort.
HOMEWORK: Math workbook pages 63-65.
Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.
SUPERSTAR: Genia – bring your photo album and sharing each day
Religion: We discussed the Immaculate Conception and how Mary said “Yes” to God. We are still talking about Advent, and how we are preparing our homes for Christmas.
Reading: This week we read the Nutcracker, and The Napping House for the letter Nn.
Math: We have been working on counting objects and writing numbers. We will begin our next math chapter after the holidays along with our self-paced math program.
MATH HOMEWORK: Math workbook pages 63-65.
Cooking: We were not able to cook this week due to our pageant practice.
Science/Social Studies: We have been working on several projects for Advent, the Nativity and Christmas.
