Kinder Newsletter Dec. 5, 2014

Please continue to bring in gently used toys for the children in Tecate, Mexico. We will be collecting toys until Dec. 12.

We are also collecting blankets, sweaters, jackets, hats and gloves as a school wide community. Please bring in your donations from now until December 19th.

Monday is a Holy Day of Obligation, The Immaculate Conception, please have your child in dress uniform at the 8:00 am Mass. It is mandatory that all students attend; your child will be marked tardy if not in attendance.   Release time is 3:15 pm.

HOMEWORK: Math workbook pages 59-62.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Gabby – bring your photo album and sharing each day

Religion: We are learning about Advent, and that it is a time that we prepare for the birth of Jesus. We also completed several projects for St. Nicholas Day.

Reading: This week we read several stories for the letter Mm; The Mitten, Moosekitos and If you Give a Moose a Muffin.

Math: We took our Chapter 4 Test and Assessments. We also completed our first addition worksheet (Mitten Math). We will begin our self-paced math program after Christmas

MATH HOMEWORK: Math workbook pages 59-62.

Cooking: We made muffins for the letter Mm.

Science/Social Studies: We are creating several projects for Advent, the Nativity and Christmas.
