Kinder newsletter Nov. 20, 2014

Our pizza and silly string party was a big hit; everyone had a good time spraying each other and enjoyed a slice of pizza.

Our Thanksgiving feast with the 8th grade class was a big success. Thank you for all the donations for our Charlie Brown Feast, and to those of you who came out to help with set up and clean up.

HOMEWORK: Complete worksheet packet – due December 1.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Evan – bring your photo album and sharing each day

Religion We learned about our special talents and that we need to share them with others. We also learned why we celebrate Thanksgiving, and that we have a lot to be thankful for.

Reading This week we read several stories about the Mayflower and Pilgrims for the letter Mm. We also read The Berenstain Bears, Count Their Blessings about being grateful for the things we have.

Math We reviewed 1st-10th place values. MATH HOMEWORK: No workbook pages, just the worksheet packet that was given out last week.

Cooking No cooking this week due to our Thanksgiving feast.

Science/Social Studies We made several projects this week based on Native American Indians, Pilgrims and Thanksgiving.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving and a wonderful week off!

God Bless,

Mrs. Taylor
