Good Afternoon Everyone,

I’ve been making phone calls to inform you about 6th grade camp. I want to remind you that 6th grade camp is schedule for the week of March 4-8. There will be an information meeting on February 4th at 8:00 A.M. in my classroom, room 11. Extended care will be open for those parents that need it at no charge to you. I really recommend that you come to the meeting because there will be a representative from the camp here and you can ask any questions about the camp directly to them.

I’ve also been calling to remind you that the 6th grade is using the lunch for Grandparent’s Day as a fundraiser for camp. We are in need of Capri-Sun juice boxes, water, chips, and/or cookies. If you think you can donate any of these items please let me know. We also need helpers the day of the event. The lunch will be served at 12:00 P.M. and we need people here starting 11:45 A.M. to help set up. Let me know if you are available to help.

The third reason that I have been calling you about is to invite you to the St. Mary’s Gala this year. I’m very excited about it. Unfortunately, last year I was there for about 30 minutes and had to go to a class that I was taking. This will be the first year that I get to stay for the duration of the event and I’ve heard that it’s lots of fun. I hope to see you there, it would be fun to talk in a different atmosphere.
