Looking Ahead:
We had a great time at our Polar Express pajama day celebration! They enjoyed the hot chocolate and other treats! Thank you to all the families that donated the items for our fun celebration.
The students did a great job at the Christmas Pageant. The students have been practicing and were proud to perform for you. We hope you enjoyed the pageant.
Thank you for all the kind gifts and sentiments. I appreciate each and every family. I hope you all have a very blessed Christmas with your families.
Reminders:
The next two weeks there will be no school, 12/24-1/7 for Christmas break. I hope you all have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year with your families. We will resume school on Tuesday, 1/8.
Please continue to read with your child over the break and practice the sight words we have been working on. The small books that are sent home each week are a great way to continually practice.
Super Star Student- I will go in alphabetical order by first name. The student that is Super Star Student for the week will bring in a small photo album with 10-15 pages. You may wish to include pictures and a description of your child’s likes/dislikes, favorite vacations, special events, thing he/she enjoys doing, etc. We will read from this book every day that your child is Super Star. Being Super Star also means being line leader, prayer leader, and calendar leader. The Super Star may share every day during his/her week, not just on his or her assigned share day.
