Middle School Social Studies Weekly Newsletter 10/22

“Fix your thoughts on what is True, and Honorable, and Right, and Pure.” Philippians 4:8
 Looking Ahead:

I hope your children had a great long weekend!

5th and 6th grade students will be looking at the different regions of the United Sates. They will also be creating wonderful regional maps.

7th and 8th grade will be focusing on Europe in the Middle Ages with a focus on the expansion and then fall of the Roman Empire.

Please remember to check laptops before sending them to school. They need to be fully charged in order to take full advantage of the technology.

If you have not done so, please send your child with their headphones. This will help them use the laptops while also keeping a well-balanced learning environment.
As a reminder, it is Red Ribbon week. I am looking forward to seeing all the students participate. The following is a list of what the different days will consist of:

Monday: Fun Socks
Tuesday: National Disabilities Awareness Day (Students will receive a white ribbon to wear)
Wednesday: Tie Down Drugs
Thursday: Throwback decade
Friday: Red shirt and Jeans

Please see the flyer that was sent home on Thursday as well as the school’s newsletter for additional information.
