Ms. Egan’s Newsletter 6/3

Happy June, Middle School Families!

Can you believe this is our LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL? It’s flown by! This coming week we have a lot of fun activities to look forward to. Monday is fly up day, where students will visit next year’s classroom and get the 4-1-1 on being a grade older. Summer assignments and supply lists will be passed out at this time and students will have the chance to ask questions. 8th graders have their afternoon potluck and kickball game on that day as well.

Tuesday is the 8th graders’ last day of school and the 8th grade graduation dinner, hosted by 7th grade. Please see invitation for details. 8th graders receive report cards.

Wednesday is 8th grade graduation. Please see details below:
-Mass begins at 3pm
-Grad ceremony begins promptly at 4pm in the church
-Please have students’ gowns pressed if they are wrinkled
-Students should dress in nice attire under their gown
-Awards will be presented to students in addition to diplomas

Thursday is class party day after recess. The middle school will have one party with all grades, 5-7. Please see Mrs. Martinez’s email with a Signup Genius for items to bring.

Friday is the last day of school! There will be mass at 8am, and school ends at 10am. There will be no extension after 10am. Students receive report cards after mass.

*Please note that students still need to bring their backpacks and all school supplies Monday – Thursday, as we will still be doing academic activities and taking items home on these days.
