Kinder Newsletter for 5/25

Our Kindergarten last day of school play/celebration will be on Thursday, June 7th beginning at 10:00 am in the new parish hall, with breakfast to follow. Fruit, flatware, tablecloths, and clean up help is still needed for our breakfast. Please let Gina Goodwin know if you are willing to help. Thank you in advance! Siblings may attend if their teacher excuses them from class.

Your child needs wear their mass uniform and arrive at our regular time on June 7th. We will not be having a cap and gown ceremony.

June 7 Peter Rabbit Play 10:00 am with breakfast to follow

A summer packet will be sent home with your child on the last day of school. Please return it to the first grade teacher for homework credit at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.

HOMEWORK:

Math: Workbook pages 117-120

Friday, June 1st, will be the last day for sight word testing.

Lending Library – The class-lending program will end Friday, June 1st. Please return all books by this day.

SUPERSTAR: Rich – bring your poster and sharing each day!

Religion We continue to work on our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLEs).

Reading This week we read The Tale of Two Bad Mice, and The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, each of these were two day books.

 Math We continue with Chapter 10 on telling time.

Science We will begin our short unit on ocean life on Monday.
