Our Peter Rabbit Play will be June 7th at 10:00. Kindergarten students will be released to you after the play and breakfast. There is no school for Kindergarten on Friday, June 8th.

Next week is School Spirit Week.
Each day students will have a different theme.
Monday: Kindergarten wears RED
Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day
Wednesday: Silly Hat Day after Mass
Thursday: Disney Day
Friday: Pajama Day

Math: workbook pages 101-102

Please practice the reading/sight word list your child has been given. Please remember to send back your child’s book bag each Friday to receive a new one each Monday.

Please have your child read to you or read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Harper – Bring in your poster and sharing each day!

Religion We talked about how Jesus cares for us and how we should treat others. We also discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.

Reading This week, we read Sunflowers, Johnny Appleseed, Apples, and Little Apple Tree. Math We finished Chapter 6, and began Chapter 9 about money. We’ve also been working on Garfield math and number rolls.

Science/Social Studies
We continued our unit on plant life. We learned about the life cycle of an apple tree and what plants need to grow – soil, water, air and sunlight. We planted bean, tomato, and wild flower seeds, which have all started to sprout. We also tasted 3 different kinds of apples to decide which one we liked the best.
