HOMEWORK:

Please practice the reading/sight word list your child has been given. Please review previous lists on a continuous basis, so that your student can read the words and not just memorize them to pass the test. A review test will be given after list 6.

Math: Workbook pgs. 137-139; 231-232

Please have your child read to you each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Fernando – bring your poster and sharing each day.

Religion

We learned about St. Patrick and discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.

Reading

This week we read A House is a House for Me, Milk Makers, Farm Animals, and That’s What Leprechaun’s Do!

Math

We are finishing up Chapter 12, along with reviewing sets of 10. We work daily on Garfield Math and number rolls.

Science/Social Studies

We discussed the boy, girl and baby names of animals, such as Stallion, Mare, Foal and Bull, Cow, Calf etc.
