We had a busy week celebrating Spirit Week and DAY 100. We enjoyed looking at great Day 100 posters, and completed a lot of Day 100 projects.
If you have not yet purchased your tickets to the Gala, please consider doing so, it is a great night out with your friends and St. Mary’s Community.
If you have not yet contributed to our gala class tablescape please do so by Monday. Our class participation has been very low, thank you to those families that have already donated. Our theme is a Taste of Italy.
Valentines Day – because Valentines Day falls on Ash Wednesday this year we will not be having a class party. We will still celebrate our friendship by exchanging cards, but please do not send in treats.
HOMEWORK: W sound bags due Monday.

SUPERSTAR: Rich- bring your photo album and sharing each day!
Religion We discussed how Jesus teaches us to pray. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.
Reading This week we read Uni the Unicorn for the letter Uu, Verdi for the letter Vv, and Wyatt’s Wagon and Wimberly Worried for the letter Ww.
Math We are working on Chapter 8 on subtracting numbers, along with Garfield Math.
Science/Social Studies We will begin our unit on Community Helpers on Monday. If you would like to speak about your job to the class please let me know.
