Kinder Newsletter for October 27, 2017

The school families gathered for their last Rosary as a family until May.

FREE DRESS on Monday for Kindergarten. Our class brought in 45 cereal boxes. Please use dress code guidelines.

The 2nd grade All Saints Day Pageant will be at 9:00 am on Wednesday after the 8:00 am Mass. Please join us if you can.

Math worksheets, sent home in your students folder – due Nov. 3

Jj Sound Bags due Wednesday

Please review your child’s work as it comes home and go over it with them and discuss any corrections. Your child should be writing the letters Aa-Hh correctly, as these are the letters we have completed.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Ella – bring your photo album and sharing each day.

Religion

We learned that God created our friends. We also discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.

Reading

This week we read The Holiday Handwriting School, Harry the Dirty Dog, Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs, and Hair – Clip, clip, clip

 Math We continue with Chapter 4 – learning about one-to-one items. We also graphed gummy bears for the letter Gg.

Homework: Math worksheets (not in book)

Science/Social Studies

We will finish up dinosaurs next week and begin a new unit about Native American Indians, Pilgrims and the First Thanksgiving for November.
