This week, we met with our school families for Rosary. If your child has a rosary, please do not send it to school. It is often a distraction and is swung around, often hitting another child. For now, we will just practice learning the prayers. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sunday is our Parish Fiesta School Mass beginning at 10:30 am with Auxiliary Bishop Dolan. All students should be in their school mass uniform. Please report to Room 13 (upper campus) by 11:45 am for our 12:00 performance. Students will need to be checked into the room, and out at the end of the performance. Please do not take them from the stage.
Field trip FRIDAY 13th: Bates pumpkin patch permission slips are due on Tuesday. Chaperones are still needed.

The mini book about the letter Ee is due on Tuesday, October 10.

Religion
We learned why God made people and that we are all different. We also discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.
Reading
This week we read a two-day book called Dandelion for the letter Dd, and two books about eagles for the letter Ee.
I will begin to log grades into Gradelink for complete/incomplete class work that relates to the book of the day. If your child completed the work, they will receive 10 out of 10. If very little has been done they will receive partial credit. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact me.
Math
We began Chapter 4 on writing numbers. Math homework pages, chapter tests and assessments will be recorded in Gradelink. MATH HOMEWORK PAGES 47-48 & 153-156, due October 13.
Science
This month we will be learning about Dinosaurs, fall, and how pumpkins grow.
See you on Sunday for Mass and the Fiesta.
Enjoy your weekend!
God Bless, Mrs. Taylor
