The permission slip for Bates Nut Farm went home in yesterday’s home folder. Please return the forms by October 10. Siblings may not attend, as this is a class function. We should return by 12:30. Your child will need a booster seat. Please have your child wear blue jeans, a red polo or plain red t-shirt and athletic shoes. Bring a sack lunch.

 

HOMEWORK:

Please practice writing letters Aa-Dd.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Anastasia – Please bring in your photo book and sharing each day.

Religion

We learned how God made the animals. We also discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.

Reading

This week we read Different- Just Like Me, Duck at the Door and Dinorella for the sound of Dd.

Math

We will begin Chapter 4 on Monday. This chapter discusses number recognition and number writing, one-to-one items and fewer/most.

Science

We finished our unit about the 5 senses. We will learn about dinosaurs through a variety of activities for the month of October. We will also begin learning about the growth of a pumpkin from seed to jack-o-lantern.
