If you have not yet sent in 12 empty solid colored plastic eggs, please do so by Monday.
The Kindergarten class does NOT have a graduation ceremony. Instead we put on a Peter Rabbit Play and enjoy a breakfast together afterwards. This will be held on Thursday, June 8th, at
10:00 am. Kindergarten students will be released to you after the play. June 8th is also Kindergarten’s last day of school.
Kindergarten’s Bake Sale is on Wednesday, May 17th. Volunteers and donations will be needed. I will send out more information, as the date gets closer.
HOMEWORK: Please practice the reading/sight word list your child has been given.
Don’t forget to return your book bag each Friday so that you can receive a new one on Monday.
Math Review: pages 217-220
Please have your child read to you each night for at least 10 minutes.

Religion The next few weeks we will be talking about the Stations of the Cross, Holy Week and Easter. We also discussed this Sunday’s Gospel.
Reading This week we read about Owls, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, How Groundhog’s Garden Grew and The Power of a Flower.
Math We completed Chapter 9 about money with our final assessment. We will be reviewing money and past lessons until after Easter Break.
Cooking No cooking this week due to report card testing.
Science/Social Studies
We began our unit on plant life. We’ve learned that plants need soil, water, air and sunlight to grow. We also looked at a variety of seeds.
