Kinder Newsletter for March 24, 2017

Volunteers are needed! I need help with afternoon rotations on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:20-3:00 pm. You would work with 6-7 students, usually playing a game or making a craft. I need someone beginning this Monday.

HOMEWORK:

Please practice the reading/sight word lists and reading long and short vowel words. I hope you are enjoying our Lending Library! Remember to return the books each Friday.

MATH:

Workbook pages: 105-108

Please practice identifying and counting with money.

Please have your child read to you each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Chase – bring your poster and sharing each day!

Religion We are discussing the Lenten season. We joined our school families for Stations of the Cross in the Church. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read All about Lions, Lions, My Mammal Book and Where does milk come from?

Math We are still working on Chapter 9, identifying and counting money. We continue with Garfield Math.

Cooking We were unable to cook this week since Ms. Daniela was out sick.

Science/Social Studies

We discussed lions and a variety of farm animals and learned about how milk goes from the cow to the refrigerator.

Enjoy your weekend!

God Bless,

Mrs. Taylor
