Please have your child bring in 1 paper egg carton that fits 12 eggs and 12 solid colored plastic eggs by Friday, March 24.

Each Friday during Lent is the Knights of Columbus Fish Fry. Please join your fellow parishioners in the new parish hall from 5-7:30 for a delicious fish n chips meal.

HOMEWORK: Please practice the sight word lists. If your child completes all 15 lists they will receive a Menchies gift card.

Math: Dot to Dot pages

Please have your child read to you each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Brett – bring your poster and sharing each day!

Religion We are discussing the Lenten season. Every Friday during Lent, we join our school families for Stations of the Cross in the Church. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read In Like a Lion, Dandelion Duck and The Little Red Hen.

Math We will begin Chapter 9 on Monday. We continue with Garfield Math, and number rolls.

Cooking This week we made bread and our own butter!

Science/Social Studies

We discussed a variety of farm animals. We also discussed the four seasons and what “In like a lion, out like a lamb” means.
