Please have your child bring in 1 empty paper egg carton that can hold 12 eggs, along with 12 solid colored plastic eggs, by Friday, March 24.
HOMEWORK: Please practice sight words. I will begin a lending library soon.
Words to our Spring Music Festival song was send home in your child’s folder. Please find the music and have your child sing along for practice. They do not need to learn the yodeling words.
Math: Workbook pages 37-40
Please have your child read to you or read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.
SUPERSTAR: We have completed the class. I will now be sending home a poster for you to fill out with your child.

Religion We are discussing the Lenten season. We joined our school families for Stations of the Cross in the Church. And we discussed Sundays’ Gospel.
Reading This week we finished reading about careers by reading, When I Grow Up and I can be Anything!
Next week we will begin our animal books.
Math We are still working on Chapter 3, positions. We continue with Garfield Math, and working our number roll – writing numbers to 100.
Cooking No cooking this week.
Science/Social Studies
We discussed a variety a farm animals and identified what makes them a mammal, such as, they have hair or fur, and they are born alive not from an egg.
