We had a busy week celebrating Spirit Week and DAY 100. We enjoyed looking at great Day 100 posters, completed a lot of Day 100 projects and enjoyed a yummy Day 100 cake.

Please sign and return your child’s Report Card envelope. Please let me know if you would like to schedule a conference.

HOMEWORK: We have completed our sound bags.

Practice Sight Word Lists. I would like each child to complete a minimum of 3 lists by the end of Kindergarten. There are 15 lists total.

Math: Workbook pages 97-100

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Sofia – bring your photo album and sharing each day!

Religion We discussed how Jesus wants us to be kind to one another as he was kind to everyone. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read Verdi for the letter Vv, and Wyatt’s Wagon and Wimberly Worried for the letter Ww.

Math We are working on Chapter 8 on subtracting numbers, along with Garfield Math.

Cooking We made waffles for the letter Ww.

Science/Social Studies

We began our unit on Community Helpers. If you would like to speak about your job to the class please let me know.
