Space Day was a culminating activity to end our unit on the Solar System. The kids had a great time doing all the different activities. Thank you to all the parent volunteers!

HOMEWORK: Work on your 100 Day poster that is due February 8^th.

Please read with your child each night for at least 20 minutes.

SUPERSTAR: Olivia- bring your poster and sharing each day!

Religion We discussed how Jesus is always with us and that we can pray any time and anywhere. We also discussed Sundays’ Gospel.

Reading This week we read Roxaboxen for the letter Rr, along with Stellaluna and The Good Samaritan for the letter Ss.

 

 

Math We finished chapter 7 and will begin chapter 8, subtracting numbers, along with Garfield Math.

Cooking No cooking this week due to report card testing.

Science/Social Studies

We finished up our unit on the Solar System. For the month of February we will discuss community helpers and the Presidents.
