Kinder Newsletter for Sept. 2, 2016

We had a great first week. The children are getting use to our classroom routines and becoming more familiar with the class expectations.

Thank you for coming to our Back to School night. For those of you who were not able to make it, I hope you found the information packet in your child’s home folder. If you have any questions, please contact me via email at

Volunteering in the classroom, Super Stars and sharing will begin the first week of October.

We have assembly at 8:40 am each morning (except Wednesday). Your child will be signed in as tardy if they are not in line with us at the assembly. Mass days we start heading over to church at 7:50.

We are learning how to make the Sign of the Cross, saying The Our Father, and a good-bye prayer/song Jesus Tender Shepherd.

This week we read First Day of Kindergarten. Little Monster Goes to School and We can Learn Everything.

The math homework book as been sent home. Please look on this newsletter and online for the math pages assigned for the week. Turn them in each Friday.

We will begin cooking next week.

This month we will be focusing on our Five Senses – touch, taste, hearing, smelling and seeing.

Enjoy your 3-day weekend!

God Bless,   Mrs. Taylor
