Our Kindergarten last day of school play/celebration will be on Thursday, June 16th beginning at 10:00 am in the school hall, with breakfast to follow. Siblings may attend if their teacher excuses them from class.

Please see the attached list for items requested to bring in for breakfast. Thank you in advance for your help!

Your child may wear their school uniform the last day of school. We will not be having a cap and gown ceremony.

“Fly Up” will take place on Monday, June 13th. This is where the kindergarteners will visit the 1st grade classroom and Mrs. Bonica.

HOMEWORK: A summer packet will be sent home with your child on the last day of school. Please return it to Mrs. Bonica for homework credit at the beginning of the school year.

READING: Keep practicing with your child each night for at least 20 minutes. I am so proud of the progress the children have made this year.

Religion We continue to work on our St. Mary Journal along with a journal I created for the students to learn our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLE).

Reading This week we read about Sharks, Dolphins and Whales

Math We are reviewing math concepts learned through the year. We are also writing numbers to 100 and continue with Garfield Math.

Congratulations to Ricky Greene he made it to Garfield Math Level 60!

Science/Social Studies
We learned about sea life that included a variety of sharks and whales.
