Our Kindergarten last day of school play/celebration will be on Thursday, June 16 beginning at 10:00 am in the school hall, with breakfast to follow. Kindergarten will be release after the show and breakfast. They do NOT attend school on Friday, June 17th.
“Fly Up” will take place on Monday, June 13th. This is where the kindergartner’s will visit the 1st grade classroom and Mrs. Bonica.
HOMEWORK: The last day for sight word testing will be June 6. Keep practicing the sight word list your child has been given.
Math: Workbook pages 116-119.
Please have your child read to you each night for at least 20 minutes.
Religion We continue to work on our St. Mary Journal along with a journal I created for the students to learn our St. Mary Student Learning Expectations (SLE).
Reading This week we read The Tale of Two Bad Mice, The Tale of Mrs. Tiggie-Winkle, and Rainbow Fish.
Math We continue with Chapter 10 on time to the hour and ½ hour. We are also writing numbers to 100 and continue with Garfield Math until June 13th.
Cooking We will not be able to cook for the remainder of the school year.
Science/Social Studies
We will begin Ocean Life on Tuesday. Unfortunately, The NAT no longer offers their tide-pools program and the Birch Aquarium has a minimum of 20 students for their programs.
