Weekly Newsletter

Religion:  This week we completed Chapter 21 on the Triduum.  When we return from Easter break, we will be reviewing Unit 3.  There will be a Unit 3 exam covering Chapters 15 through 19 on Thursday,  April 14th.

4th Grade Language Arts:  The 4th graders completed a comprehensive grammar review which covered sentence structure and parts of speech.

5th Grade Language Arts:  The 5th graders completed the ACRE test this week.

4th Grade Math:  We finished Chapter 8.  When we return from break, we will begin Chapter 9.

4th Grade AM: We finished Chapter 9.  When we return from break, we will begin Chapter 10.

5th Grade Math:  This week we completed Chapter 6 on multiplying and dividing fractions.  When we return from break, we will begin Chapter 8 on decimal addition and subtraction.

5th Grade AM:  This week we completed Chapter 9.  After break, we will begin Chapter 10 on geometry.

Science:  This week we had another fun Science lab with Dr. Dossey.  Each student made a weather station to measure temperature, wind speed and rainfall.  The students have homework over Easter break.  They each have a log sheet to record the temperature, wind speed, and rainfall each day.  These will be due on Thursday, April 14th.  They only need to have 14 entries.  They can also log different times of the day as separate entries.

Wednesday 4/13:  8am Mass, 2:30pm Dismissal

Thursday 4/14:  Religion Unit 3 Test, Weather Stations Record Sheets due, Quarter 3 Ends

Friday 4/15:  L.A./Spelling 4.20 Tests, 5th Grade Reading Passports due, 12noon Dismissal

Tuesday 4/19:  Happy Birthday, Luke!

Wednesday 4/20:  8am Mass, 2:30pm Dismissal

Thursday 4/21:  Happy Birthday, Danielle!
